Hello KIOXIA America team members! As you are fully aware, KAI is committed to corporate social responsibility and has continued to increase our CSR focused activities over the past years. The company has been promoting its charities and volunteer activities including Employee Match program with a focus on important areas including Education, Environment, Disaster Relief, and other Social Welfare. In order to make KAI’s CSR activities easier and more efficient, and as one of KAI’s “Kaizen” projects, we are pleased to offer you this volunteering and workplace philanthropy platform called “Bright Funds.” Using this platform, I would like to further increase employee engagement and maximize our resources to support communities and charities together with all KAI team members. I think Uplifting the World with “memory” relates to not only the industry changing products and solutions we sell, and I believe that we also can uplift the world with a good “memory” of all KIOXIA members’ beneficial activities, and positive impact, in our society. 2020 Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund
About The W.H.O. has declared COVID-19 a pandemic and public health emergency of international concern. Bright Funds has established The 2020 Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund, comprised of pre-vetted nonprofits based in the United States providing emergency response around the world and in the US. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery. Given the ever-changing nature of this pandemic and widespread impact, the composition of the nonprofits in this Fund will evolve. Generally this fund will support healthcare, medical needs, vulnerable populations, nutrition/food support at both the local and international level.
